My favorite Banana Muffins with a coconut twist, a sweet cream cheese surprise on top with a sprinkling of toasted coconut flakes!

Although a dollop of cream cheese frosting may be a bit unconventional to add to your classic morning muffin, it's a fun way to mix things up!

To make the muffins, preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare your muffin baking tray with muffin liners. –

Once prepared, pour your batter into the muffin liners and bake until a tester comes out clean, about 30 minutes. –

Allow your muffins to cool and start to prepare the whipped cream cheese frosting.

Add a dollop of frosting onto each cooled muffin and sprinkle with the toasted coconut flakes before enjoying!

Once your banana muffins are baked and cooled, they will be good for 1-2 days at room temperature.
