Step 1: Beat the room-temperature butter and cream cheese together  on medium speed until it’s uniformly smooth and somewhat fluffy.

Scrape down the sides AND bottom of your bowl, and don’t be afraid to do it more than once.

Step 2: Scrape down the sides, then add the powdered sugar slowly followed by the vanilla extract & blueberry jam.

Step 3: Frost to your heart’s content. Place blueberry buttercream icing in a plastic bag or pastry bag with a piping tip.
