Empress Gin Sour With Pear & Fig

- ¾ oz. Vanilla Bean Syrup
- 2 oz Gin
- 1 oz Spiced Pear Liqueur
- ½ teaspoon Fig Jam
- ¼ oz Lemon juice
- ½ Egg White
- Ice
- Pear and Fig Slice for garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
Add all the above ingredients into a shaker and shake for 30 seconds until chilled and frothy.
¾ oz. Vanilla Bean Syrup, 2 oz Gin, 1 oz Spiced Pear Liqueur, ½ teaspoon Fig Jam, ¼ oz Lemon juice, ½ Egg White, Ice
Strain into your serving glass and top with a thin pear slice and fig slice that sits on top of the frothy top and grate a bit of freshly grated nutmeg.. Then enjoy - cheers my friends!

Optional Variations
While this might just be my favorite of all the gin sour recipes I’ve tried (at least for fall), there’s always plenty of room to customize any recipe to fit your needs. Feel free to try any of the following gin sour variations:
- Vegan - Swap in 1.5 tablespoons of aquafaba (the liquid from a can of chickpeas) for a perfectly vegan sip.
- Add Bubbles - A light topper of club soda or sparkling mineral water adds a lovely bit of effervescence.
- Use Vodka - If you’re not a fan of gin, go for neutral-flavored vodka instead!
