Keep your freshly prepared strawberry sugar in a clean, airtight container in a cool, dark cabinet, preferably with a packet of silica in there to keep out any latent humidity. It should store well for 1-2 years under the proper conditions.
Wondering what to do with flavored sugar?
Strawberry-infused sugar can be used in nearly any recipe that calls for regular white sugar. I’ve used it to add a new layer of flavor to snickerdoodles, sprinkled it over my morning lattes, added some color to my pancakes… There’s no shortage of what this sugar strawberry magic can do!
