Violet & St Germain Spritz

Sweet, floral, and effervescent, my Violet & St Germain Spritz is flavored with delicate elderflower liqueur and creme de violette, resulting in a cocktail that tastes like the embodiment of spring. With just 4 ingredients, 3 minutes, and zero fancy cocktail equipment necessary, this light and refreshing adult beverage is my current happy hour obsession.

Notes

Optional Variations
It’s hard to improve on the perfection of this St Germain Spritz, but I welcome you to try. Here are the first ideas that come to mind:
  • Swap in another floral liqueur for either St Germain or violet liqueur, like rose or jasmine.
  • Make a simple violet-elderflower mimosa by skipping the ice and sparkling water.
Expert Tips
    • Invest in a champagne stopper. If you love sparkling wine, there isn’t a single better $5 purchase I can recommend!
    • Go nuts with your garnish. The easiest way to make happy hour at home feel as fancy as a night on the town? Add garnishes to your drinks!
