Equipment

Ingredients

Lavender Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Lavender Buds

Lavender Cold Foam

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup 2% Milk
  • ¼ cup Lavender Simple Syrup
  • 1 drop Purple Food Coloring optional

Matcha Lavender Latte

  • 2 teaspoons Matcha Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Hot Water 175F/80C
  • 1 cup Oat milk or Almond Milk
  • Ice
  • 4 Tablespoons Lavender Cold Foam

Instructions

Lavender Simple Syrup

  • Add your water and sugar into a saucepan and heat on medium while stirring. Keep stirring until you see that the sugar has dissolved into the water. Add lavender into the warm/hot syrup and stir so that the lavender is coated in the syrup. Allow the syrup to infuse for 30 minutes to an hour before straining the lavender and placing the infused syrup in an airtight container.
1 cup Granulated Sugar , 1 cup Water, 1 Tablespoon Lavender Buds

Lavender Cold Foam

  • Add the heavy cream, milk and lavender syrup in a container and stir to combine. Add into a glass or pitcher with tall sides. Using a frother, froth ingredients together until thick and foamed, about one minute making sure to move the frother to the bottom, top and sides of the vessel. The goal is to reach a thickened, melted ice cream texture! If desired, add a drop of purple food coloring into the cold foam and blend!
1 cup Heavy Cream , ½ cup 2% Milk , ¼ cup Lavender Simple Syrup , 1 drop Purple Food Coloring

Matcha Lavender Latte

  • Warm your bamboo whisk by soaking it in a cup of hot water for 1–2 minutes—this softens the tines, helps prevent breakage, and preps it for a smoother whisk. Then sift the matcha into a bowl or cup to remove clumps. Add warm water (not boiling!) and whisk until frothy using a bamboo whisk or milk frother.
2 teaspoons Matcha Powder, 3 Tablespoons Hot Water
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in your oat or almond milk. Add the matcha shot, then top with the lavender cold foam. Stir gently if you want the flavors to mix, or sip as is for layers of flavor!
