Notes

How long does homemade strawberry milk last?
If it’s stored in a clean, airtight container in the fridge, homemade strawberry milk should last for 2-3 days with no problem. If you opt to make the strawberry syrup, it will last for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. To extend the shelf-life of your berry milk leftovers, consider freezing them into popsicles for a refreshing treat.
Substitutions & Variations
This recipe has not been tested with other substitutions or variations. If you replace or add any ingredients, please let us know how it turned out in the comments below!
  • Vegan/Dairy-Free Strawberry Milk - Swap in the plant-based milk alternative of your choice. I recommend reaching for unsweetened plain or vanilla-flavored milks like oat, almond, or soy.
  • Lactose-Free Strawberry Milk - Use a lactose-free milk brand like Fairlife or Lactaid to get all the flavor without any of the tummy trouble.
  • Add Extract - A dash of vanilla extract (or dollop of vanilla paste) will make your strawberry milk taste like melted ice cream. YUM.
  • Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Milk - If it’s dessert you’re after, combine the delectable flavors of chocolate milk and strawberry milk in one glorious glass. Use high-quality chocolate milk (i.e. Promised Land) or homemade chocolate milk, and opt for the blender method for the best, most balanced flavor. Feel free to use non-dairy chocolate milk if needed!
  • Other Berry Milk - Strawberries aren’t the only gloriously poppable fruits, so feel free to use whichever is in season, on hand, or tickles your fancy. You can also mix and match berries to your heart’s content!
  • Strawberry Milk Smoothie - Opt for the blender method, but be lazy about it. Skip straining out the strawberry solids for a thicker, smoothie-like consistency that retains all the fiber from the fruit.
