  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 Lime Quartered
  • 6-8 Mint Leaves
  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • 1 oz Passion Fruit Puree
  • 1 oz Mango Juice
  • Splash Club Soda
  • Mango, passion fruit pulp and Mint Sprigs For Garnish

Instructions

  • Muddle the simple syrup, lime quarters, and mint leaves together in an empty cocktail glass.
    1 oz Simple Syrup, 1 Lime, 6-8 Mint Leaves
  • Fill the glass with ice. Add the rum, simple syrup, passion fruit puree, mango juice, and a splash of club soda. Stir to combine.
    2 oz Light Rum, 1 oz Passion Fruit Puree, 1 oz Mango Juice
  • Garnish your mango and passion fruit cocktail with a slice of mango, passion fruit, and a few “slapped” mint sprigs. Enjoy!

Tips and variations
  • Freshly squeezed vs. bottled lime juice - When in doubt, always go for freshly squeezed! Fresh citrus juice is much brighter and tastes noticeably different in drinks. 
  • Slap the mint - ​​The key to releasing the minty fresh aromas is by literally “slapping” the mint leaves. Hold the leaves in one hand and smack them over your other hand. This will warm up the oils and release the aromas and flavors before you begin muddling.
  • Adding warm spices - Warm, earthy spices pair perfectly with tropical fruit juices. Garnish your passion fruit mojito with a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg or replace the simple syrup with cinnamon-infused simple syrup.
