 Expert Tips
From one home barista to another, here are my best tips for making the BEST strawberry latte around:
  • Brew strong coffee: Since strawberry milk has its own distinct flavor profile, it's important to have a strong base to pair with it. Consider using a concentrated brew like espresso or a strong coffee concentrate.
  • Milk matters: Choose any milk that suits your preference, including dairy milk, almond milk, oat milk, or any other milk alternative. PRO TIP: If you opt for vegan milk, try reaching for a specific "barista blend" for the best mouthfeel.
  • Chill your ingredients: For a refreshing iced latte, make sure your coffee, strawberry mixture, and milk are all chilled before combining them. If you want to quickly cool your espresso, try a Hyperchiller!
  • Ice cube swap: To prevent your iced latte from getting watered down, consider using flavored ice cubes made from coffee or the strawberry mixture. These cubes will keep your drink cold without diluting it.
