As a trained culinary chef, one of my favorite ways to add a unique twist to recipes is by playing with floral flavors—and rose simple syrup is one of the easiest and most elegant ways to do just that. With its romantic aroma and delicate sweetness, this syrup instantly elevates everything from matcha lattes to cocktails, cakes, and lemonade.

Whether you're adding a dash to a rose matcha latte, sweetening sparkling water, or drizzling it over a vanilla cake, this syrup is a versatile kitchen staple that’s surprisingly easy to make. All you need is sugar, water, and rose flavor, and you’re just 10 minutes away from something beautiful and delicious.
This recipe uses either dried edible rose petals for a more natural infusion or rose water for a quicker floral flavor—both work beautifully, and the syrup keeps well in the fridge for days of inspired creations.
